Recently I purchased the
Yudu silkscreen machine. I made 5 prints for the
Printed Matter show in Giant Robot San Francisco. The machine was on the large side, especially for my small apartment. There was big learning curve when it came to applying the emulsion to the screen and I wasn't totally happy with the screen quality, but after a few tries I got it to work. Next project - maybe t-shirts?

Santa brought one of these to my daughter for Christmas. She has been making t-shirts all week.
How are you maintaining registration for colors? Eyeballing it?
Anyway, looks cool.
Yeah, pretty much eyeballing to get the registration for the first one and then taping the edges on the glass for where the paper should go. The easiest (though not the cheapest) way to register correctly is by using more than one screen. It turned out ok, but the process wasn't so smooth for me. I need a break before attempting my next project. Thanks!
