NYT Illustrations

Recently I had the amazing opportunity to do some illustrations for an article for the New York Times. It was an article entitled "Hunger Games Parenting" by Bruce Handy that talked about some recent books about parenting styles. They were a lot of fun to do!

Heathers in Wonderland

Based on the 80s movie Heathers and Alice in Wonderland. I recently was commissioned this piece for a little girl's bedroom. I hope it's not too disturbing for her.

Cut-up Carousel

A while back I was commissioned to create an illustration for The Refinery Creative, an ad agency, for an advertisement in the Key Art Awards magazine. It was a lot of fun working with the Refinery boys on this whimsical yet slightly disturbing carousel illustration.

An older piece for the cover of The Stranger, which was also shown and sold at a La Luz de Jesus group show.
